Please
join me in supporting the 25th Silver Anniversary year of Love
Ride. Love Ride is a one day event for the purpose of raising money
for charity.
The charities benefiting from this year's
ride are: Reading by 9 (a L.A. Times sponsored literacy initiative
benefiting local schools), the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Autism
Speaks, Optimist Family Youth Homes, Diabetes Institute for Immunology
and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota, Providence St.
Josephs Foundation, Glendale College Foundation, Big Brothers/Big
Sisters of Los Angeles, Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Frostig
Center, Scleroderma, Special Olympics and Friends of the Lake.
Last year was my first time participating
in this great charitable event, and through the generous donations
of others I was able to raise a total of $470.00. I hope we can
do even better together this year.
Love Ride 25 is hoping to raise over a million
dollars for charity this year. You can help by visiting my
personal fundraising site; at this site you can make a donation
of any amount via credit card. At this site you will find links
to additional information about Love Ride as well as the charitable
organizations benefiting from the event.
Love Ride is currently the largest one day
motorcycle event in the world. It is a place where everyone has
a good time while making a difference in the community and the world
we live in. Please help us by making
a contribution today.
